WhatsApp & Text Support – Because Care Doesn’t End When the Session Does

Why feel alone after sessions end when you can have calm, compassionate WhatsApp and text support to help you through?

After a session, it’s very common for thoughts, emotions or questions to surface once you’re back in your everyday life. Our WhatsApp / text support service is here to bridge that gap – offering gentle, grounded support between sessions so you don’t feel like you’re “on your own” with what’s coming up.

Support When you Need It

You can send a message during normal working hours to share how you’re feeling, ask a brief question, or get a little bit of grounding and reassurance. During office hours, I’ll aim to respond as soon as I’m able.

Outside of those hours, you’re still welcome to message, and you’ll receive a reply within 4 hours (where possible) or the next working day. This isn’t meant to replace therapy sessions, but to complement them – a supportive thread that runs alongside your ongoing work.

Here with you on your journey

This kind of support can be especially helpful if you notice big emotions after a session, if you’re practising new coping strategies and want a bit of encouragement, or if you simply need someone to “hold in mind” what you’re going through. Sometimes just knowing you can reach out, put your thoughts into words, and be heard can make a big difference to how held and supported you feel.

Please note that WhatsApp / text support is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, please contact your GP, call 999, or use your local emergency / crisis services. For everything that sits outside of that – the wobbles, the doubts, the “I just need to tell someone this” moments – this service is here to offer calm, compassionate support between sessions.

Testimonials

“Since seeing Barbara I can honestly say she has changed my life around. I have had no panic attacks at all, I am more open and more social and I walk in to work straight away. I have had life throw some stuff at me and it wasn’t until a couple of days after I had realised this would normally make me panic and increase my anxiety but it hasn’t. What an incredible and professional lady.”
